Backed by an accredited training academy

Every product in our catalogue is tested through Artisan Training Academy (RTO 46085) — a nationally accredited cosmetic tattoo and beauty training organisation. We see what works and what doesn't across hundreds of students and our own clients before stocking anything.

Frequently asked questions

What are the best cosmetic tattoo pigments and machines?

The honest answer is that 'best' depends on your technique and experience, but here's what we test through our training academy and trust. For pigments, our range is built around Amiea — the EVO 2 range for brows and Organicline for lip blush and eyeliner — because they heal predictably across skin tones. For machines, the Mast P60 and Dragonhawk are excellent value for newer practitioners, while the Cheyenne artyst H2 PowerBabe is a premium studio workhorse. All of our machines take universal cartridges.

Do I need to be qualified to buy — and do you sell to students?

We supply trained cosmetic tattoo and PMU practitioners, and students enrolled in accredited training, across Australia. Cosmetic tattooing is a skin-penetration procedure, so it should only be performed after recognised training and in line with your state's infection-control requirements. We're connected to Artisan Training Academy (RTO 46085), so if you're just starting out we can point you toward training as well as supplies.

Do you deliver Australia-wide, or offer local pickup?

We ship Australia-wide from our Gold Coast studio, with free delivery on orders over $150. Prefer to collect? Local pickup is available from our Worongary studio at 1/86 Quambone Street, Monday to Friday 9am–5pm — order before 11am for same-day collection.

How much do machines and pigments cost?

Machines run from around $250 for a reliable wireless pen (Mast P60 $289.99) up to premium Cheyenne artyst machines ($1,499–$1,999) for established studios. Amiea professional pigments are $65 each, and cartridges, mapping tools and consumables start from just a few dollars. Enjoy 10% off orders over $50, applied automatically at checkout.

How do I choose the right pigment, and how long does it last?

Two things drive pigment choice: the base, and the client's skin. Organic (carbon-based) pigments are brighter for bold work; inorganic (iron-oxide) pigments are softer for natural-looking brows — most modern pigments, Amiea included, use a hybrid formula. Match the pigment to your client's Fitzpatrick skin type and undertone so it heals true. Cosmetic tattoo generally lasts 1–3 years before a refresh, depending on the pigment, skin, sun exposure and aftercare.
